PHILADELPHIA – After finishing up regular season team competition, the University of Pennsylvania gymnastics team has qualified 10 individuals to compete in the USA Gymnastics (USAG) Collegiate Nationals this upcoming weekend, April 10-13, in Providence, R.I.
Penn has qualified 10 individuals, and will send seven to Brown this weekend to compete in the USAG nationals.
The seven Quakers competing are; Rachel Graham (floor, season-high 9.850), Amber Hu (beam, season-high 9.725), Wynne Levy (vault, season-high 9.725), Emily Paterson (vault, season-high 9.675), Kelly Tan (bars and beam, season-highs 9.650 and 9.725), Nicki Valenti (floor, season-high 9.725), and Amber Woo (vault, bars, and beam, season-highs 9.600, 9.625, and 9.700).
Three Penn gymnasts, Makeda Constable (bars, season-high 9.625), Carissa Lim (floor, season-high 9.800), and Diana Moock (bars, season-high 9.675), qualified for the event, but will not compete.
