Hasson Earns Rookie of the Week Honors Again

PHILADELPHIA - For the second week in a row, freshman Sarah Hasson of Penn's field hockey team has been named the Ivy League's Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office Tuesday morning.

Hasson led an aggressive second half comeback, scoring two consecutive goals within a minute of each other to give the Quakers their first Ivy League win of the season. Down 1-0 at halftime, Hasson tied the score in the 38th minute then struck again 51 seconds later, knocking in the game-winning goal. Shooting a perfect 2-2, Hasson rallied her team that went on to defeat Harvard 4-1.

The Quakers (3-5, 1-1) have a busy week ahead hosting Lafayette Wednesday at 7:15 p.m., Dartmouth at noon on Saturday, then travel to play Temple at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
