Heavyweight Rowing Competes at Head of the Charles

BOSTON - The University of Pennsylvania heavyweight rowing team turned in several solid finishes Sunday at the Head of the Charles in Boston.

In the morning's first race, the Youth Eights placed 10th out of 61 crews in a time of 17:31.370, fourth among Ivy League competitors. The Championship Fours crew placed 20th in a time of 18:18.082, while the Championships Eights finished 16th out of 40 in a time of 15:30.971.

Penn will be back in action on Saturday at the Head of the Schuylkill regatta.
