Hicks Will Not Play in This Weekend's Games

The University of Pennsylvania’s John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men’s Basketball, Jerome Allen, has announced that junior guard Tony Hicks has been suspended and will not play in either of the Quakers’ games this weekend.

“Tony did some things during and immediately following last Saturday’s game against Brown that did not meet the standards of the Penn basketball program,” said Allen. “After reviewing the incidents earlier this week, I have decided to sit him for this weekend’s games. I have spoken to Tony and the team about the situation, and they will learn from this. We look forward to having him back on the court next weekend.”

Penn is at Ivy League co-leader Harvard on Friday night, and at Dartmouth on Saturday night. Both games will tip off at 7 p.m.
