Hsu Ranked by the ITA as No. 4 Incoming Freshman in the Country

PHILADELPHIA - Freshman Connie Hsu has only been on Penn's campus for a few weeks now, but is already getting her name known. In the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) preseason rankings, the San Antonio native has been named the No. 4 incoming freshman in the country.

During the weekend of Sept. 10-12, Hsu won the top singles flight at the William and Mary Invitational; her first time hitting the courts at the college level.

The newcomer has also pre-qualified to compete at the ITA All-American Championships which will be held in Pacific Palisades, California, October 2-10.

Penn continues its fall season this weekend, hosting the Cissie Leary Invitational on Penn's home courts.
