TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -Senior All-America Courtney Jaworski finished 79th out of 253 runners at the 2005 NCAA Men's Cross Country Championships Monday afternoon. The meet washosted byIndiana State University.
Jaworski completed the 10K course in 30:48.9. His time was about a minute and a half behind winner Simon Bairuof Wisconsin, who finished in 29:15.9.Jaworski was the fourth Ivy Leaguer to cross the finish line.
Wisconsin won the team title. Arkansas finished second, followed by Notre Dame, Iona and Colorado. Dartmouth was the only Ivy League team to compete; the Big Greenfinished 15th out of 31 teams.
Jaworski and the Quakers open the indoor track season Dec. 10 at the Princeton Holiday Classic in Princeton, N.J.
