PHILADELPHIA - The latest installment of Ken Burns' award-winning "Baseball" documentary, "The Tenth Inning," recently made its debut on PBS affiliates throughout the country. On Friday, Oct. 15, Penn Athletics is teaming with the U.S. Sports Film Festival to present a special screening of selected and edited highlights from this installment at the University's Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
The film will begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a live, in-person attendance and audience conversation with Ken Burns himself. In addition, former Penn baseball player and major leaguer Doug Glanville ENG'93is scheduled tomake an appearance.
Following the screening, a cocktail reception will be held at the new Weiss Pavilion Atrium. The fee will be $20 per person for the entire event, with a donation to Penn Athletics also recommended.
