Karin Corbett Profiled by US Lacrosse

PHILADELPHIA -US Lacrosse -- the national governing body of lacrosse -- recently spoke with Karin Corbett, head coach of the eight-time defending Ivy League champion University of Pennsylvania women's lacrosse team about her coaching philosophy and advice for aspiring coaches.

Corbett has guided the Quakers to eight consecutive Ivy League titles and NCAA Tournament appearances. From 2007-09, her teams reached three Final Fours and advanced to the 2008 NCAA championship game.

The 2007 IWLCA National Coach of the Year, Corbett owns a 170-91 record as head coach of the Quakers and a 77-31 record inside the Ivy League. Since the startof the 2007 season and Penn's run of eight League titles, Corbett's teams are 56-3 inside the Ancient Eight.

She has coached five Ivy League Players of the Year and two Ivy League Rookies of the Year to go with 32 first-team All-Ivy selections. In addition, she has guided 17 IWLCA All-Americans and 48 All-Region selections.
