Keystone Classic Brackets Announced

PHILADELPHIA – The preliminary brackets have been released for the 2008 Keystone Classic to be held at The Palestra on Sunday. Four Quakers have earned number-one seeds and will look to capture titles on their home mats.

Rollie Peterkin (125 pounds), Cesar Grajales (149 pounds), Matt Dragon (157 pounds) and Zack Shanaman (165 pounds) sit atop the pre-tournament rankings heading into the ten-team tournament.

The other number-one seeds are Pitt’s Jimmy Conroy (133 pounds), Tyler Nauman (141 pounds), and Zack Sheaffer (Hwt.). American University has two top seeds in Mike Cannon (174 pounds) and Andrew Silber (197 pounds). The final number-one seed is Brown’s Matt Gevelinger (184 pounds).

Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. with the finals expected to start around 6 p.m.
