PHILADELPHIA - Christina Khosravi can add another honor to her resume as the postseason awards continue to come in for the Penn senior shortstop. Khsoravi, already the Ivy League Co-Player of the Year and a unanimous first team All-Ivy selection, has been namedan Easton Second Team All-American.
Khosravi was the offensive leader of the Quakers all season long. Finishing with nine home runs, one shy of the Penn school record set by teammate Annie Kinseylast season, Khosravi hit .390 with 39 RBI. She shattered the school records for walks (42) and on-base percentage (.548), leading the Ivy League this season in both categories. Khosravi also had a team-record 15 doubles, which was the second-most in the League this season.
Khosravi was the only Ivy League player to be named to any of the three Easton All-American teams.
