Lacroix Lands on Top 100 List Top 100

PHILADELPHIA - Reigning Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year Duke Lacroix has been featured by in its Preseason Top-100 Players List, coming in at No. 82.

The only Ivy Leaguer featured on the list, Lacroix is coming off a 2013 season where he earned second-team All-Region and unanimous first-team All-Ivy honors as the Quakers won the Ivy League championship. Lacroix was second in the Ancient Eight in both goals (eight) and points (19), leading the Red and Blue in both categories. Lacroix has earned All-Ivy honors each of his three seasons at Penn, with second-team honors in 2012 and an honorable mention selection in 2011 while he was Ivy League Rookie of the Year.

With his selection as Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year last season, Lacroix became just the sixth player in Ivy history -- and first Quaker -- to earn both a Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year award during his career.

Lacroix and the Quakers open their 2014 campaign at home Sept. 5 against Philadelphia rival Drexel. Kickoff at Rhodes Field is set for 7 p.m.
