Leah Allen Selected as ECAC Rookie of the Year

CENTERVILLE, Mass. On Tuesday afternoon, the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced its 2014 Division I Softball All-Star teams and selected among the major award winners was University of Pennsylvania freshman softball outfielder Leah Allen. The first Quaker to receive a major award from the ECAC, Allen was voted this year’s Rookie of the Year by the head coaches within the ECAC Division I Softball membership and was also a first-team ECAC All-Star selection.
