Terre Haute, Ind. - Cross Country seniors Dusty Lieb and Nolan Tully competed at the 2004 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 22 on the campus of Indiana State University.
Lieb competing in his second NCAA championships finished 48th with a time of 31:59.2. Tully finished the 10k course race in 32:59.2 which was good enough for 102nd place. Two hundred and 42 student-athletes competed in the race with Simon Bairu of Wisconsin winning the event in 30:37.7. The University of Colorado won both the men’s and women’s championships, edging the Badgers on the men’s side by four points.
Both Lieb and Tully will be back in action when the men’s track and field team competes at the Princeton Holiday Classic on Dec. 11.
