Lightweights Place 13th at Head of Charles

CAMBRIDGE, MASS. - In their only race of the day at the prestigious Head of Charles, the University of Pennsylvania lightweights placed 13th in the Lightweight Eights on Sunday near Boston, Mass. It was the 44th running of the event.

The Quakers took part in one of the most prestigious rowing events in the country and finished in a time of 15.30.94. Jason Bernstein (C), Newton Sears, Paul Shay, Peter Ciullo, Steve Lang, Adam Neinstein, Brad Adams, Dave Mannion and Ryan Taras competed against a field of 21 boats.

Next up for the lightweights is the Princeton Chase next weekend when the team heads to New Jersey on Sunday, Oct. 26.
