PHILADELPHIA - After a successful opening weekend, the University of Pennsylvania lightweights will send a pair of crews to the prestigious Head of the Charles on Sunday.

Penn is set to compete at 3:46 p.m., in the fours and at 4:06 p.m. in the 8+ race. You can watch a live webcast here.

Last year at the 50th edition of the Head of the Charles, the Quakers had two top-ten showings when they finished sixth in the varsity 8 race and seventh in the fours. Penn's sixth-place finish was its best at the Head of the Charles since 2006 as the varsity 8 finished the course in 15:20.705.

Last week, the Quakers split between two regattas. At home on the Schuylkill River in the Navy Day Regatta the Red and Blue earned a win in the freshman fours race and were fifth in the varsity eight race. Meanwhile, two other crews competed and finished sixth and eighth, respectively at the Head of Housatonic in Connecticut.

A full Penn recap from the Head of the Charles will be available at following the conclusion of Sunday's races.
