The Quakers more than doubled the score of second place Kenyon (199.5-83) through Thursday's two events. Penn had the top four finishers in the 1650 free, led by James Fee who set a pool record with his time of 15:30.24. Stephen Carroll, Cameron Hood and Ryan Littlefield finished second, third and fourth respectively.
In the 800 yard free relay the Penn quartet of Brendan McHugh, Mike Tompkins, Conor Blackwood and James Fee took second to Kenyon with a time of 6:42.55.
The Nike Invitational will continue with a full day Friday. Preliminary heats begin at 9:30 a.m. and final heats start at 6:00 p.m.
