Men's Basketball Adds Matt MacDonald to Roster

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania’s John R. Rockwell Head Coach of Men’s Basketball, Steve Donahue, has announced the addition of Matt MacDonald to the program. MacDonald played the last two seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He will sit out the 2015-16 season, per NCAA regulations, and will have two years of eligibility starting with the 2016-17 season.

“Matt is a great addition to the Quaker basketball family,” said Donahue, who was hired in March and will coach his first season with the Quakers in 2015-16. “He is the type of player, on and off the court, who we feel can help us compete for an Ivy League championship. Matt has started the last two years at Fairleigh Dickinson, and was a captain his sophomore season. He will be a terrific leader for our young players.”
