THE REGATTA
- The Penn heavyweight and lightweight crews will take part in the annual IRA Regatta this weekend on the Cooper River Lake in Camden, N.J. The IRA's serve as the national championship for men's collegiate rowing, bringing together crews from across the country.

RACE SCHEDULE - Heat sheets and the updated championship schedule can be viewed in PDF format here. The top two finishers in each ofthe eight heats advance to Friday's semifinals. Only the top finisher in each four heat will advance to the semis.

Heavyweight Varsity 8 - Race 6, Lane 5 - 8 a.m.
Heavyweight Freshman 8 - Race 10, Lane 1 - 9 a.m.
Heavyweight Varsity 4+ - Race 15, Lane 3 - 10:12 a.m.

LOOKING FOR MEDALS - The heavyweight freshman 8 and heavyweight 4 will have high hopes for medal contention this year after each won their events at Eastern Sprints two weeks ago. The freshman 8 beat Northeastern by two seconds in 6:02.28 to claim their first Sprints title since 1997, while the fours cruised to a seven-second open water victory over Boston University.
