Men's Cross Country Finishes 10th at NCAA Regional

BETHLEHEM, Pa.--Brian Goldberg was Penn's top finisher with a 28th overall finish at the NCAA Regional qualifying race in Bethlehem, Pa. Penn finished with 257 points in 10th-placeand advanced no runners to the championship race.

Goldberg clocked a time of 31:09 followed by Brian Trembley in 31:17 in 34th place.

Senior Larry Contrella was Penn's third scorer with 39 points and a time of 31:21. Freshmen Luke Grau and Anguel Tolev rounded out the scoring with 75 and 81 points respectively. Grau finished in 32:02 with Tolev just behind him at 32:08.

Also running for the Quakers was Brian Cullin in 85th with a time of 32:12.

With no runners advancing, Saturday's race was the last of 2007 for the Quakers.
