Men's Cross Country Finishes at Pre-Nationals

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.--The Penn men's cross country team finished 29th in the "White" race at the Pre-National meet, Saturday in Terre Haute, Ind. The team scored 749 points in the 40-team field.

Luke Grau paced the Quakers with a time of 24:59.0 on the 8K course. Senior Sean McGinley and sophomore Christopher Baird soon followed at 25:13.9 and 25:19.5, respectively.

Senior Brian Trembley (25:29.9) and junior Kevin Sullivan (25:33.5) rounded out the Penn scorers. Philip Cawkwell (25:58.9) and John Cassidy (26:52.9) also competed for the Red and Blue.

The Quakers now turn the attention to the Ivy League Heptagonal meet, Friday, Oct. 31 at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City.
