State College, Pa. - The Quakers had three runners finish in the top 50 on their way to a ninth place finish at the Penn State Invitational in College Park.
The Red and Blue finished ninth out of 27 teams and senior Luke Grau led the Penn contingent with a 20th place finish in a time of 25:53. Fellow classmates Christopher Baird and Phil Cawkwell were the next to cross, finishing 32nd and 49th in times of 26:05 and 26:19 respectively.
Freshman Conner Paez was the fourth Red and Blue runner to finish, taking 71st with a time of 26:43. Junior Michael Cunningham rounded out the scoring with an 83rd place finish in a time of 26:53.
Penn has next weekend off before traveling to Van Cortlandt Park for the Ivy League Championships Oct. 29.
