PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's cross country looks to improve on last's fifth place finish when they take part in the Iona Meet of Champions on Saturday morning.
The Quakers took fifth at the Fordham Fiasco last weekend, as head coach Charlie Powell chose to rest some of his top runners because of the wet conditions. Junior Robert Dugger led Penn with a time of 27:28.12, good for eighth overall. Freshman Mike Kiley took 13th in his college debut.
Penn will be one of 23 teams running in the Iona Meet of Champions, two of which are nationally ranked. Thee men's race will take place at 10:15.
