Men's Cross Country Heads To Regionals

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's cross country will be competing in the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals at the University of Maryland Eastern Shorte this Saturday, November 14th at noon.

The men's team looks to improve on last race's eighth place finish in the Heptagonal Championships on October 30.

Junior Christopher Baird was the Quakers top finisher two weeks ago as he placed 34th with a time of 26:39. Senior Kevin Sullivan (26:43) was the second Penn runner to cross, while junior Robert Dugger (27:00) placed third for the Red and Blue.

In last year's Regional 10k, the Quakers finished eight out of 24 teams with a total of 214 points. Baird is the team's top returning finisher from a season ago as he was the third Penn runner to cross the finish line and 43rd overall. Sullivan and junior Luke Grau rounded out the top five for the Red and Blue.
