Men's Cross Country Travels To Penn State On Friday

PHILADEPHIA - The men's cross country team returns to the trails after week off when they race in the Penn State Invitational on Friday morning.

The Quakers will face tough opposition on the 5.2 mile course, including tenth ranked Georgetown and 11 other regionally ranked teams. Included in the field of 26 are Ivy foes Cornell and Yale.

In its last race, two weeks ago, the Red and Blue finished 14th out of 43 teams at the Paul Short Invitational. Penn was lead by juniors Christopher Baird and Luke Grau, who finished first and second on the team. Baird took 23rd overall with a time of 24:10 while Grau placed 50th with a time of 24:35.
