Men's Golf Finishes Seventh at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J.—The Penn men’s golf team finished seventh on Sunday, shooting a total of 883 over the two-day tournament hosted by Princeton.

St. John’s University won the 15-team tournament, which was played on the par-71, 6390-yard course at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J.

Michael Blodgett finished just one over par with a 214-stroke total, good for a sixth-place tie and the Quakers’ best performance of the weekend.

Dean Merrill recorded Penn’s second best finish, shooting a 219 (six over par) to tie for 19th place.

Kevin Huntingtonshot a 224 to tie for 32nd place, while Bryant Williams carded a 229 to finish in a tie for 49th place.

Brett Rendina shot a 233 and finished in a tie for 65th.

The men’s golf team's next tournament is the Ivy League Championships at Galloway National Golf Course in Galloway, N.J. April 19-20
