Men's Golf Finishes Sixth at Duncan Memorial Invitational

STANTON, Del. - The Penn men's golf team finished sixth at the Scotty Duncan Memorial Invitational over the weekend with a team score of 614 (+38).The team was14 shots off the pace set by Iona and Cornell, which each posted scores of 600 in the event. Sophomore Chance Pipitone carded the lowscore for Penn with a +8 total of 152, good for a 13th-place tie.

Juniors Michael Blodgett and Brett Rendina each shot +10 totals of 154, tying for 19th place. Senior Dean Merill was right behind, carding a 155 over the weekend to tie for 21st place. Junior Bill McCrossan rounded out the Penn squad with an event total of 159.

The Quakers are back in action next weekend when they host the Big 5 Classic at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Play will begin Saturday morning and will conclude with the second round on Sunday.
