Men's Golf Finishes Tied for Seventh at McLaughlin

FARMINGDALE, N.Y. - The Penn men's golf team finished tied for seventh place at the McLaughin tournament at Bethpage's historic red course Sunday. The team shot a 25-over par 865 for the weekend, led by Michael Blodgett's four-over-par 214, good for a 20th-place tie individually.

Chance Pipitone finished close behind Blodgett, posting a six-over score of 216, good for a tie for 29th. Dean Merrill and Bill McCrossan each shot +10 scores of 220, while Michael Kornheiser finished the weekend with a 13-over-par 223 on his card.

The men's golf team is back in action October 6 when they travel to the Delaware Invitational at Delaware Park, Del.
