ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Penn men's golf team made some changes to its lineup just ahead of this weekend's Navy Spring Classic, but it doesn't seem to be upsetting the Quakers' success. They are in fourth place out of 20 teams after one day at Navy after shooting 294 as a team on the par-71 Navy Golf Club course.

George Washington is in first place, at 291, while Columbia and Georgetown are tied for second at 292. The Quakers are fourth, followed by Villanova (295) and Colgate (296). The tournament is scheduled to conclude with a final 18 holes on Sunday.

Juniors Colin St. Maxens and P.J. Fielding -- the latter making a last-minute move from the lineup to an individual spot in the field -- both shot even-par 71 on Saturday to put them in a group of four golfers who are one shot behind co-leaders Brian Dorfman (Georgetown) and Taylor Fuqua (GW).

As for the rest of Penn's lineup, sophomore Max Marsico shot a 73 on Saturday and is tied for 12th, while senior Scotty Williams and freshman Austin Powell shot 75 and are in a group tied for 33rd. Geoff Locher, who replaced Fielding in the lineup, shot a 77 and is tied for 58th in the 111-player field.

Two other Penn players joined Fielding as individuals in the field. Freshman Ben Cooley is tied for 24th after a Saturday 74, while Tomas Agrest shot 85 and is tied for 109th.
