BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Penn men's golf team finds itself atop the leaderboard after the first day of competition at the Lehigh Invitational. Junior Brett Rendina led the Quakers with a round of 73 as the team finds itself nine strokes ahead of second-place Siena and 11 strokes up on the host, Lehigh.
Rendina's 73 puts him two strokes ahead of his next-closest teammate. Junior Michael Blodgett shot a 75, while freshman Kevin Huntington posted a 77 and junior Bill McCrossan carded an 83. Freshman Ross Merrill rounded out the Quakers team with a round of 88.
Play resumes in the final round of the Lehigh Invitational tomorrow morning with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
