Men's Golf Looks to Defend Title at Ivy League Championships

GALLOWAY, N.J.—The Penn men’s golf team heads to the Galloway National Golf Club this weekend to defend its title in the Ivy League Championship Tournament.

This year’s Quakers’ championship squad is comprised of Michael Blodgett, Dean Merrill, Kevin Huntington, Brett Rendina and Michael Kornheiser.

Blodgett and Huntington, a freshman, have led the way for Penn so far this season, with captain Merrill notching several solid rounds as well.

Merrill and Blodgett competed on last year’s championship team, and will be providing the experience for the newcomers on the squad.

The men will play 54 holes over the weekend, with the first round kicking off Saturday at 7:30 a.m.

The Galloway Golf Club is a par-72 course, sprawling over 6,900 yards
