Men's Heavyweight Open Four Set for IRA Grand Final

The open four will row in the fifth lane against Cal-Berkely, Princeton, Cornell and two boats from Harvard. The team finished second in its heat with a time of 6:57.925 andraced a time of 6:57.346 in the repachageto make the grand final set for 9:36 a.m.

Penn will also in theVarsity 8 3rd Level Final.The Red and Bluefinished in 6:05.358 in its heat followed with a 6:20.315 in the repachage. In thefourth semifinal the Quakers shaved 35 seconds off that time to finish at5:55.196. The crew will race in the 3rd Level Final at noon.

The freshman boat clocked a time of 6:19.890 in its heat and 6:23.503 in the repachage. The crew clocked its best time of the event at 6:10.566 in the semifinal but did not advance to the final.
