Men's Lacrosse Announces Class of 2011

PHILADELPHIA- University of Pennsylvania Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Brian Voelker has announced the addition ofnine freshman recruits to his program for the 2008 season.

“I am thrilled with the class we have put together,” said Voelker, who enters his sixth season with the Quakers. “This group had tremendous success at the high school level; we look for them to continue that here at Penn. I am especially happy because I feel we got four of the best players off of Long Island, and two top players from schools that were ranked in the top ten. There are some talented athletes in this class who can help us win a lot of games. I look forward to working with these young men for the next four years.”
