Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-America Teams

PHILADELPHIA - Inside Lacrosse has come out with its preseason Top 20 and All-America teams, and Penn is represented in both. As a team, the Quakers were picked to finish 14th in the preseason poll. Individually, sophomore defenseman Maxx Meyer was selected as a third-team All-America, while senior long-stick middie Will Koshansky received honorable mention All-America recognition.

In head coach Mike Murphy's second year at the helm, Penn went 8-7 in 2011 and advanced to the NCAA Championship field for the first time since 2006. The Quakers finished second in Ivy League play -- their best conference finish since 1989 -- and went unbeaten at home.
