Men's Lacrosse To Be Part of ACC Tournament

PHILADELPHIA – Tickets are on sale now for the 2015 ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship, to be held April 24-26 at PPL Park located in Philadelphia.

University of Pennsylvania fans might want to get in on the action.

That’s because the Quakers will be a part of the weekend festivities.That Saturday (April 25) at 7:30 p.m., Penn will take on the ACC’s fifth-place team to close out the Red and Blue’s regular season. Regardless of who Penn plays, the Quakers are sure to face a quality opponent -- all five ACC teams are ranked among the top nine nationally in the USILA preseason coaches' poll.

All five ACC teams (#2 Notre Dame, #3 Duke, #4 Syracuse, #6 North Carolina and #9 Virginia) will return to PPL Park, the site of last season’s event, with the top four finishers from the regular season competing for the ACC Championship. The four-team tournament will commence with semifinal action on Friday, April 24, with games at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. The championship game will be played on Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m. The fifth-place team that does not qualify for the tournament will play Penn on Saturday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. All game times are subject to change.

All four games will be played in the intimate atmosphere of PPL Park, which serves as the home of Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union. The 2015 tournament will mark the fifth time in the event’s 27-year history that it has been held at a neutral site. Prior to coming to PPL Park in 2014, Orlando, Florida, played host in 2001, followed by Baltimore, in 2005 and 2006.

Corrigan Sports Enterprises and YSC Sports Marketing are working as marketing partners with the ACC to present the 2015 Men’s Lacrosse Championship.

Penn fans can buy tickets to Saturday's game through the Penn Athletics Ticket Office. Ticket prices are:

$40 – Premium (single day): The best seats in in the house with prime midfield seating locations. Premium ticket holders have exclusive access to food and beverage options in the Stadium Club lounge.

$25 – Sideline (single day): One day admission to the action on the day of your choice.
