PRINCETON, N.J.- The Penn men's lightweight rowing team competed with Princeton for the Wood-Hammond Cup Saturday on Lake Carnegie. The Tigers won the varsity race, clocking 6:05.8 over the 2,000-meter course to the Quakers' 6:26.6. In the freshman eight, Princeton was timed in 6:24.4, while Penn came in at 6:35.9.
Penn is back in action next weekend, hosting MIT on the Schuylkill River.
Distance: 2,000 meters
