Men's Squash Competes at First Day of CSA Individual Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Penn men's squash team has several members competing at the Collegiate Squash Association Individual Championships, which got underway Friday in Annapolis.

In the Potter Division, the highest division on the men's side, Lee Rosen fell in five games to Princeton's Hesham El Halaby, 3-9, 9-7, 9-3, 5-9, 9-0. However, Rosen advanced to the quarterfinals in the Potter consolation bracket, where he will play Simbarashe Muhwati of Trinity today.

In the Malloy Division, Ryan Rayfield won his first round match, 5-9, 9-0, 9-1, 9-7before falling in the Round of 16 to Nicholas Hrdy of Harvard, 9-0, 9-6, 9-6. Porter Drake also won his first round match, a 9-3, 9-6, 9-7 victory over John Paul Sardi of Middlebury, before dropping his second round match with Colin Campbell of Yale, 8-10, 9-6, 9-3, 9-4.
