Men's Squash Downs Big Green in Finale, 9-0

PHILADELPHIA – In their final meet of the regular season, the No. 4-ranked University of Pennsylvania men’s squash team defeated No. 7 Dartmouth, 9-0, Sunday. Penn (8-3, 4-2 Ivy) won seven matches by a 3-0 score.

Playing in his final home match, senior Gilly Lane picked up his second win of the weekend, beating Andrew Boumford; 9-3, 9-2 and 9-4 at the No. 1 spot. Fellow seniors Ben Ende, Graham Bassett and Ryan Rayfield all won their matches. Ende defeated Ted Newhouse in four games, as did Bassett over Tyler Young. Rayfield swept Samir Mahta at the No. 9 spot.

Lee Rosen, Mark Froot, Spencer Kurn, Andrew Zimmerman and Christopher Thompson were also victorious.

The Quakers are not in action again until they play in the Team Championships Friday, Feb. 23 at Yale.
