PHILADELPHIA -Taking on archrival Princeton, the University of Pennsylvania men's squash team cruised to an 8-1 victory on Saturday at the Ringe Squash Courts. The win is the Quakers eighth of the season and second over Ivy opponents.
Headlining the wins was Marwan Mahmoud picking up his first win of 2016. Mahmoud competed in the top spot and walked away with a 3-1 triumph.
Penn picked up four 3-0 wins on Saturday. Hayes Murphy, Anders Larson, Derek Hsue, and George Lemmon all cruised to spotless victories.
Karim Hussein, James Watson, and Tyler Odell all used four games to take down their opponents, giving Penn the 8-1 win.
The Quakers will compete twice next weekend against a pair of Ivy opponents in Brown and Yale. Both matches will be at the Ringe Squash Courts.
