Men's Squash Falls at Franklin & Marshall, 8-1

LANCASTER, Pa. - In a matchup of the No. 9 and No. 10 teams in the latest College Squash Association rankings, the Penn men's squash team fell to Franklin & Marshall Wednesday night, 8-1, at the Mayser Center Squash Courts. The match was closer than the final score might indicate, however, as the Diplomats won a pair of five-set matches and took three others in four.

Ninth-ranked Penn's only win came at No. 8 on the ladder, where William Browne defeated Pat Cunningham in straight games. Dan Greenberg battled to five games with F&M's Guillherme de Melo at the No. 2 spot, but lost Game 4 (11-9) and Game 5 (13-11). Zuhaib Mohiuddin also held a 2-1 lead at No. 4 but could not close it out, falling 11-9 in the fourth game and 11-5 in the fifth.

Penn will return to action this weekend in New England. The Quakers are slated to face second-ranked Yale and 12th-ranked Bates on Saturday in New Haven, Conn., then face No. 14 Brown Sunday in Providence, R.I.
