CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In its final weekend of Ivy League action, the Penn men's squash team fell to Harvard 7-2 in Cambridge, Mass. Saturday afternoon. The Quakers are now 5-6 on the season and 1-4 in Ivy play, while the Crimson improved to 4-0 in the league and 5-2 overall.
Sophomore Thomas Mattsson and freshman Zuhaib Mohiuddin earned Penn's two wins in the No. 3 and No. 7 positions, respectively. Mattson came out on top in a grueling five-game battle with Zeke Scherl. Scherl took a 2-1 lead, but Mattson battled back to win the final two games, 12-10 and 11-5.
Mohiuddin defeated Franklin Cohen in a quick three-game match, 11-7,11-4, 11-9.
The Quakers are back in action tomorrow at 11 a.m. when they face Dartmouth in Hanover, N.H.
