Men's Squash Falls to Western Ontario, 7-2

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Penn men's squash team ended its season on a down note Sunday, losing to Western Ontario, 7-2, in the consolation final of the CSA Team Championships at Princeton.

With the defeat, the Quakers finish the season at 9-7 overall and will be sixth in the nation in the final College Squash Association rankings. It was the second time this season the Mustangs and Quakers had played each other, as the two previously met back on Nov. 19, when UWO dealt Penn a 6-3 loss.at Cornell.

Penn gained its two points from victories by Gilly Lane at No. 1 and Lee Rosen at No. 2. Lane easily defeated Iain Crozier, 3-0 (9-1, 9-2, 9-1) while Rosen beat Greg Hutner 3-0 (9-5, 9-6, 9-0).

While the team portion of the season is over, Penn players will next compete individually at the CSA Individual Championships starting March 3 at Amherst.
