Men's Squash Holds on to Defeat Dartmouth, 5-4

Philadelphia, Pa. -- The University of Pennsylvaniamen's squash team defeated Dartmouth, 5-4, onSunday in the Ringe Squash Courts. It was the Quakers final home match of the season and closes out a 2-1 weekend for the Red and Blue.

Penn won two of the first three matches to take an early lead. At No. 1, Gilly Lane fell to Ryan Donegan, 3-1. Rich Repetto won at No. 2, 3-0, and Ben Ende defeated Hank Alexander at No. 3, 3-1. Dartmouth won the next two points to pull ahead, 3-2. However, the Quakers won three of the remaining four matches to clinch the win. Spencer Kurn won at No. 6, 3-2, Colby Emerson won, 3-0 at No. 8 and Drew Crockett closed out the win with a 3-1 victory at No. 9.


The Quakers are next in action on Saturday, Feb.19 at the Five Man Teams in Hartford, Conn.
