HANOVER, N.H. -After suffering their first loss on Saturday, the University of Pennsylvania men's squash team picked up a hard-fought, 5-4 win over Dartmouth on Sunday afternoon.
Hayes Murphy, Karim Hussein, Max Reed, James Watson, and Jonathan Zeitels were winners for the Quakers.
Murphy outlasted his opponent in the first game, 14-12, on his way to a 3-1 win.
Hussein made quick work of his foe, running away with three straight games, 11-6, 11-5, and 11-7.
Max Reed also worked a shutout, taking his games 11-6, 11-7, and 11-9.
James Watson needed four games for his triumph. Watson took the first game, loss the next, but earned two close wins in the next two games, 11-8 and 11-9.
Finally, Jonathan Zeitels won 3-0, as the Quakers improved to 7-1 on the season.
Penn will now wait two weeks before taking the court again. They will head to Trinity on January 23.
