Men's Squash Picks Up a Pair of Wins

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 7 Penn men’s squash team picked up a pair of wins on Saturday as they defeated No. 15 Amherst, 9-0 and No. 10 Williams, 6-3.

The first match of the today pitted the Quakers against the Lord Jeffs of Amherst. The Red and Blue dominated their opponents easily picking up their first win of the day, 9-0. In the nine matches Penn only gave up one and senior Bobby Dickey surrendered just two points, while senior captain Joey Raho let only three points slip in their respective matches. In the afternoon match, the Quakers remained relentless as they defeated the Ephs, 6-3. All of Penn’s three losses were taken to four or more games.

The next match on the schedule is Franklin and Marshall this Wednesday evening followed by squash powerhouse No. 1 Trinity on Saturday Jan. 24.
