Men's Squash Rebounds with 8-1 Win Over Dartmouth

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After a disappointing loss Friday, the University of Pennsylvania men’s squash team defeated Dartmouth, 8-1, at the College Squash Association (CSA) Team Championships Saturday afternoon. Penn picked up five victories by a 3-0 count en route to the victory.

Gilly Lane and Lee Rosen each picked up 3-0 wins at the top-two spots. Ben Ende bounced back from a Game 1 loss to Adam King to win the final three games for the win at the No. 3 position. At the No. 4 spot, Spencer Kurn dropped his first game to Ted Newhouse, but won his next two games convincingly before losing Game 4, 10-9. In the decisive fifth game, Kurn won easily again, 9-2.

Graham Bassett, Andrew Zimmerman and Ryan Rayfield all won in three games, while Joey Raho was victorious at the No. 9 spot in four games.

Penn will play Williams Sunday at noon in the fourth-place match.
