Men's Squash Rolls Haverford, 9-0

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The No. 5 Penn men's squash team cruised to a 9-0 victory over local foe Haverford Wednesday evening.

The win pushed the Quakers' record to 7-3 this season, as Penn bounced back from a loss to Trinity on Friday. Every player in the Penn lineup won by a 3-0 scoreline.

The match gave Penn an opportunity to move players up in the lineup. Spencer Kurn, Graham Bassett, and Jacob Himmelrich all won easily at the top three positions, while Will Simonton, Nick Malinowski, Parker Justi, Rahil Shah, Sam Peelle, and Rory Heilakka all won at the fourth through ninth slots.

"It was an opportunity for us to play some lower-ranked guys and get some parity," said Head Coach Craig Thorpe-Clark. "It just good to get out and play another game."

Penn will return home to Ringe Courts for its home finale next Wednesday, facing Ivy League rival Princeton at 7 p.m.
