Philadelphia, Pa. -The University of Pennsylvania men's squash teamdefeated both George Washington and Amherst 9-0 on Saturday in the Ringe Squash Courts. It was thefifth sweep of the season for the Quakers, ranked fourth in the nation, who now hold a 6-1 record on the season.
All ninemembers of the Red and Blue won their matches against George Washington with scores of 3-0. Rich Repetto, Lee Rosen, Spencer Kurn, Will Simonton, Graham Bassett, Ryan Rayfield, Pierce Cravens, Suleyman Saleem and Sam Peelle all notched victories in the win.
The Quakers continued their dominancein the match versus Amherst.Repetto, Rosen, Simonton and Bassett allrecorded their second victories of the day. Gilly Lane, Ben Ende, Jacob Himmelrich, Eric Bardawil and Colby Emerson alsowon their matches, all with scores of 3-0.
The Quakersare next in action when they travel toHartford, Conn. to take on Trinity at noon onSaturday, Jan. 22.
