Men's Swimming and Diving defeats Dartmouth, Falls to Yale

PHILADELPHIA – The Penn men’s swimming and diving team defeated Dartmouth, but fell to Yale in the Quakers final EISL meet of regular season. The Quakers dominated the host Big Green in the pool, handing Dartmouth a 221- 79 loss. However, the Red and Blue were unable to hold off the dominate Bulldogs as they fell, 184.5-115.5.

James Fee led the Quakers with first place finishes in the 200 freestyle, 500 freestyle. While Cameron Hood (1000 freestyle), Chaz Maul (100 breastroke) and Brendan McHugh (200 breaststroke) each took first in their respective events. In his second meet back from injury, Maul’s 56.05 second finish broke the Dartmouth pool record – six pool records were broken over the course of the meet.

The Quakers are back in the pool next Saturday, Jan. 24 when Penn hosts Rider and Navy in a non-conference tri-meet.
