PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's swimming and diving team competed in its final home meet of the season and the Quakers picked up win over Rider (187-105),but was unable to hold-off the strong Navy team falling, 178.5-118.5. Brendan McHugh led the Red and Blue with two first place finishes, in addition to Penn finishing first in both relay events.
Penn picked up the first top-finish of the meet in the opening event - the 200 medley relay. The team of Larkin Macdonald, Chaz Maul, Brad Farris and Chris Buck. Farris teamed up with Kyle Loughran, Peter Amos and James Fee for the 400 freestyle relay that took first later in the meet.McHugh tookfirst in the200 breaststroke followed by the 200 IM, while Maul picked up an individual first place finish in the 100 breastroke.Fee had top-three finishes in 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle to give Penn neccessary points.
The Quakers are back in the pool this Friday when they head to West Chester Universtiy - the meet is set for 6 p.m.
