PHILADEPHIA - The Quakers finished their dual meet season in style, taking their fourth straight meet, a 173-122 decision against the Explorers of La Salle on Wednesday evening at Sheerr Pool.
The win was also the fifth in the last six meets for the Penn squad. For the seniors it was their final home meet and they didn't disappoint, taking 11 firsts. Senior Chris Buck was a part of three of those top finishes, as he touched first in the 50 back (24.41) and the 50 fly (23.04), and led off the 200 yard medley relay ().
Senior James Fee (200 Free) and Kyle Loughran (100 free) also took first place finishes. Sophomore Jeff Cragg was the only other Quaker to win multiple events, as he took the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events for the second consecutive meets.
Freshman Stephen Carroll finished first in the 500 free with a time of 4:38.68, while sophomore Peter Amos and Andrew Kaminski finished first in the 100 yard fly and 50 yard breast respectively.
Penn returns to the pool in a few weeks when the team takes part in the ECAC Championships from February 26-28.
